On May 28, 2006 I saw Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul perform at the
Gaelic Park Irish Festival. The second to last song of her show was a set of three tunes, a bluegrass tune
and two reels. At one point Eileen did a duet with Isaac Alderson on flute. It was slammin',
the best thing I've heard since The Seamus Egan-Eileen Ivers Band played those Monday nights
at Paddy Reilly's with Kimati Dinizulu
and John Doyle back in the early 1990s.
